Understanding MND
Motor Neuron Disease is a complex condition, with several different types of diseases falling under this umbrella term. When reading about it, there may be confusing medical terms to deal with, complicated ideas, technical jargon etc. You might also need a refresher in the relevant biology topics as most would’ve forgotten what the parts of the body are and how they work. Even if you don’t feel the need to do this (your biology knowledge is strong!), do take a glance at the topics as you might learn something new.
While this is not extensive, we will be adding more information as time goes on. As this website is relatively new, there is a lot more work to be done yet. So keep an eye out
This section breaks down MND for beginners, starting from what Motor Neurons are and moving to the various types of MND and the symptoms.
